Simon Wheatley
Simon has deep real estate and funds management experience. He spent 17 years with Goldman Sachs in Sydney and New York heading Real Estate divisions and real estate investment banking. His experience has seen him involved with major real estate owners globally with on site exposure to major office, retail, industrial, hotel and residential projects in numerous countries. He started his career with JLL with experience in property management and has been a property valuer without restriction. He has been fund manager of ASX listed investment funds, and advised on billions of dollars of property and technology company transactions. Simon is a director and partner of RHCD Funds and Carpe Diem Partners which both specialise in property funds management.
James Hyndes
James is the founding director of Redhill Partners and RedHill Hospitality. He is also a director and partner of RHCD. He established RedHill Hospitality Management which specialises in management of regional accommodation projects. RHM has invested in and manages five motels plus another two managed by RHCD Funds.
James previously held senior roles with investment banks Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Macquarie Bank. He was previously the Chairman of an ASX listed entity with investments in US Property. He has had involvement in establishing, funding and exiting property related investments with a combined value of more than US$500m, and has steered RedHill Partners to property assets exceeding $300m under management.
James is a graduate of the Australian National University with degrees in Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies) and Bachelor of Economics. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
