RHCD Funds is a real estate funds management company focussed on ownership and management of regional accommodation across Australia. The business combines the expertise of key personnel from Redhill Hospitality and Carpe Diem Partners, creating RHCD. Between them the directors have advised on billions of dollars of real estate transactions, and been responsible for management of hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate investments for third parties across various global markets and real estate asset classes over many years.
The motels segment is a core focus of RHCD Funds where direct management, ownership and co-investment, and investment management have been successfully implemented for over five years. RHCD Funds is the investment manager of unlisted investment funds providing investors access to professional ownership and management of regional motels around Australia. RHCD Funds currently has over 350 rooms under its management across a mix of leisure and business properties.
RedHill Regional Accommodation Fund 1 (RRAF1) was launched in 2020 and owns two major properties of 130 rooms in the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens regions of NSW. It has delivered an average 11.4% annual investor yield since commencement of distributions, exceeding forecasts. RRAF2 launched in late 2021 and owns properties accounting for 270 rooms across three states of NSW, VIC and QLD. It has generated strong property valuation gains of up to 25% per property within 18 months of investment and is undertaking a major renovation of its 72 room Seagulls Resort property in Townsville.
